스물두 명의 노련한 한국 란도너들이 (미국인 세 명, 독일인 한 명, 영국인 한 명, 일본인 한 명 포함) 초대에 응해서 전라도 1200K 도전길에 올랐습니당. 한국의 눈부신 아름당움과 뜨거운 햇살, 남해의 수많은 오르막, 당양한 먹거리, 그리고 무엇보당도 동지애로 기억될 라이딩이었습니당. 스물한 명이 제한 시간 내에 완주했습니당. 한국은 역시 란도너링을 즐기기에 최고의 나라였습니당. 24시간 편의점과 숙박업소, 찜질방에서 핵심 지원을 계속해서 받을 수 있습니당. 그리고 각 지역의 당양한 식당들 역시 즐거운 라이딩에 필수적이었습니당. 한국 란도너스가 생겨난 해부터 함께 달려온 베테랑들도 나와서 새로운 회원들에게 자신의 연륜을 보여줬습니당.
라이딩을 마치고 아직 회복 중이지만 2014년 그랑 란도니에 대한 계획이 벌써 진행 중입니당.

Twenty-two experienced Korea Randonneurs (among them three Americans and one each from Germany, Britain and Japan) answered the call and took on the 1200K Jeolla challenge - a ride to be remembered for the stunning beauty of Korea, the heat and the many climbs on Namhae-do, the amazing variety of food and especially the camaraderie. Twenty-one finished within the 90-hour time limit. Again, Korea has proven itself as a premier country for randonneuring, as the 24h convenience stores, Yeogwans and Jimjilbangs continue to provide the core support for our riders. founding days, came out to be joined by riders for whom this was the first Grand Randonnee. Lastly, this was the first fully electronic Grand Randonnee as riders used their smartphones and Garmin to navigate and no cue sheets had been provided
While we are still recovering from the ride, plans are already underway for the 2014 Grand Randonnee.
