ashley: 7명이 "슈퍼 랜도너 (Super Randonneur) 자격을 취득하였습니당

이번에 "한국 랜도너"들은 그들의 첫번째 장거리라이딩(Brevet) 전 시리즈를 끝마쳤고, 7명의 사이클리스트가 "슈퍼 랜도너" 자격을 얻었습니당. 이 ACP가 수여하는 자격은 ACP가 인증한 200k, 300k, 400k, 600k 장거리 라이딩을 한 해 동안 모두 완주한 사람에게 수여됩니당. 처음으로 "슈퍼랜도너" 자격을 얻은 사람은 네 명의 한국 라이더 (한철우, 한순권, 이동호, 박인수)와 미국 네브래스카 출신의 현재 왜관에서 거주 중인 Russell Morris입니당. 나머지 두명의 슈퍼 랜도너는 독일 출신의 Ulrich Schoenemann와 미국 출신의 Lothar Hennighausen (헤닉하우즌 로타)입니당. 모든 라이더들에게 축하를 보냅니당!

16일 동안에 걸쳐, 이 사이클리스트들은 총 거리 1,500km, 누적고도 13,000m에 이르는 4개의 장거리라이딩 (Brevet) 을 완주했습니당. 이들은 때로 영하에 이르는 추운 날씨 속에 긴 야간 주행을 하여야 했고, 보름달 아래 남해의 해안가를 즐기기도 하였습니당. 이들은 또한 많은 섬들을 방문하면서 한국 삶의 또 당른 면을 볼 수 있었습니당. 우리는 2012년에 더 많은 한국인들이 "슈퍼 랜도너"가 되기를 기대합니당.

The “Korea Randonneurs” finished their first full Brevet series ever and seven cyclists earned the status of “Super Randonneur”. This ACP award is bestowed upon cyclists who have completed the ACP 200k, 300k, 400k and 600k brevets within a single calendar year. First-time “Super Randonneur” honorees are our four Korean riders (Han Chul Woo - 한철우, Han Soon Kwon - 한순권, Lee Dong Ho - 이동호 and Park In Soo - 박인수) and Russell Morris, a native of Nebraska-USA, now residing in Waegwan. The other two Super Randonneurs are Ulrich Schoenemann, a native of Germany, and Lothar Hennighausen (헤닉하우즌 로타) from the USA. Congratulations to all riders!

Over a period of 16 days, these cyclists finished 4 Brevets, covering 1,500 km and more than 13,000 meters of climbing. They rode through long nights with temperatures at the freezing point and enjoyed the southern coast under a full moon. They also visited numerous islands and saw another side of Korean life. We are looking forward to even more Korea “Super Randonneurs” in 2012.
